Made for groups - not solo creators

The best memories are spread across everyone's phones. Group chats. Shared albums. Camera rolls. HummingBooked pulls all of it into one shared book —
and gives each person who lived it their own copy.

Whether it's a family yearbook or a bachelorette trip —
HummingBooked is built for
the people who lived it together.

1 - The Curator Starts the Book

Every book has a curator — the person making it happen.Mom curates the family yearbook. The bachelorette planner curates the trip book. The curator picks the year or the trip, sends invites, and pulls everyone in.

2 - Everyone Contributes Their Photos

Each person swipes through their camera roll and flags what belongs in the book. For every photo, they choose:- Share it with everyone — the moments that belong in everyone's book
- Keep it just for me — for the photos that mean something to you, even if they're not for the group
That's when our hummingbirds get to work. They sort through everyone's shared pictures, make sure there aren't any duplicates, and when there are near duplicates - they pick out the best one. The curator approves any choices that are too close to call. The personal ones are yours, automatically.

3 - Your Book, Your Way

Same trip. Same year.
Same shared moments at the heart of it.
But every member's book also includes the photos they flagged for themselves. Mom's yearbook isn't identical to Grandma's. Your bachelorette book isn't identical to the bride's. And your romantic sunset on the beach? Still just for you. Same memory, told from your seat at the table.

4 - Get Your Copy

When the book is ready, everyone
who contributed gets their own copy —
beautifully printed, uniquely theirs, no two alike.

That's it.

No group texts begging for photos.
No shared albums going stale.
No one person carrying the project alone.
And no one walking away with someone else's version of the memory.
Just the people who lived it
— each holding their own copy.

About AI in HummingBooked

We use AI to help you make a beautiful book.
We don't use AI to identify your family.
No facial recognition. Ever. When captions mention people by name, it's because you told us. We never scan faces, store biometric data, or build identity profiles. Your photos aren't training data for someone else's algorithm — our partners (Google and Anthropic) are commercially prohibited from training models on what you upload, and your original photos are deleted once your book is made; only the finished book pages are kept, so you can reorder or reprint. This is a choice we made on purpose.
There are easier ways to build a photo book app.
We picked the way that respects the people in your pictures.

My mom kept a yard full of hummingbirds. She fed them, planted for them, hummed to them every morning at the windows. They knew her.

She was also our family's historian — the one who knew every photo, every year, every story behind it. In early 2024, we lost her unexpectedly, and what was left behind was a lifetime of stories she could've told us, waiting in mountains of photographs and a phone full of thousands more.

The app is named for her birds. In my head, they're swooping in like Cinderella's — turning what would take a year into something fast, easy, and quietly beautiful. A whole flock of help, so the people who lived a memory together can keep it that way.

Speak the name.
Share the photo.
Tell the story.

That was her mission.
We're carrying it forward.

Be first to make yours.

We'll let you know the moment
HummingBooked is ready.
